July is Here — And We Are Taking a Breath
July feels different at Blooming Blossoms. After a whirlwind June full of weddings, workshops, and community celebrations, the team is stepping back to rest, reset, and reconnect with what drew us to flowers in the first place. There's something sacred about slowing down — about pausing the rush and remembering to breathe. We want to invite you to do the same.
In our industry, summer can feel relentless. But July is our gift to ourselves. It's a month to work at a different pace, to be intentional with our time, and to show up for ourselves and each other with more presence. We believe that taking care of ourselves makes us better at taking care of you — and the flowers.
This is what sustainable business looks like. This is what shows up as better work, happier humans, and celebrations that feel genuine instead of rushed. We are grateful for a community that understands this.
Fresh Flower Workshops — Slower Pace, Warmer Community
Even as we slow down, we have workshops on the calendar this July. These sessions are designed with a slower pace in mind — we want you to feel unhurried, supported, and free to create at your own speed. No rushing, just you, fresh blooms, and the joy of making something beautiful.

Handtied Bouquet Workshops: Tuesday July 7 - 1PM, Wednesday July 15 - 1PM
Fairy Garden Workshops: Thursday July 9 - 1PM, Thursday July 16 - 1PM
Fresh Flower Workshops: Wednesday July 15 - 6PM, Tuesday July 28 - 6PM
Sunflower Workshop: Saturday July 18 - 11AM
Advanced Floral Design Workshop: Tuesday July 21 - 6PM
All studio workshops are held at our Silver Spring, Maryland location and are capped at 12 participants. This is a perfect time to join us if you have been meaning to try a workshop — the pace is relaxed, the community is warm, and the blooms are in full season. We use our signature 4-step floral design process to guide you through creating a stunning arrangement you will be proud to take home.
July workshops are particularly special because the summer blooms are at their peak. Think dahlias, sunflowers, zinnias, and lush greenery in colors that feel joyful and alive. You will walk away not just with an arrangement, but with the confidence and skills to create again at home.

While July is quieter than June, we have two lovely weddings on the calendar this month. We are grateful for every couple who trusts us with their special day, and we are so excited to design florals that celebrate their love story.
