We made it! The last delivery van has returned, the floor has finally been swept of its trillion rose petals, and our team is currently enjoying a very well-deserved collective nap.
Valentine’s Day is a marathon, and the "Post-V-Day Blues" (or the "Flower Hangover") is very real for florists. After weeks of high stakes logistics & 16-hour days, the shop feels strangely quiet. But for us, quiet doesn't mean done.
Here’s what happens when the dust settles:
-
The Post-Game Analysis: We immediately take notes on what went well— most ordered bouquet types, best flower varietals, and taking stock of any leftovers to we can modify for the future. This data is what helps us survive next year!
-
The "Spring Pivot": By February 16th, we are already taking down the red & pink decor and thinking about our spring 2026 wedding season.
-
Caring for your Bouquet: If you have one of our bouquets on your table, don't let it fade yet! You can extend its life another week if you give your flowers fresh, cold water daily. Keep them out of direct sunlight, and away from a direct heating vent.
We are so honored to have been the messengers for your stories this year. Whether it was a first date or a 50th anniversary, thank you for letting us into your lives.
Next week, we’re switching gears to talk about something very cool: The AI Advantage. We’ll show you exactly how we use tech to keep our small shop blooming in a big digital world.
